Zakira grinned, watching her mate's frantic activity around the den with amused grey eyes. She was glad that he was happy, though, even if he seemed extremely overwhelmed with the news. In retrospect, she could have informed him of the news in a manner somewhat less shock-inducing. Ah, well. Too late now. She'd been excited herself. Nervous, though, too. Which is maybe why she hadn't thought before she spoke.
Now she stood up and went to her mate to calm his rush and bustle, feeling that it was bordering on hysteria. She touched her nose to his cheek.
"Steady on, there," she said in her light accent, smiling quietly.
Callyn laughed as Tempest set to thinking as if it required all her concentration. It was times like these the black pup reminded her so much of Jamie. She sat and watched, a slight smile on her face, as she waited to see if something would come to mind or if she'd shrug and give up.

Sol-Leks yawned and shook her head. She smiled as she watched Kavik run in his sleep. She debated about waking hm up and eventually decided to leave him sleep. She stood and walked to the mouth of the den and sat down, watching her surroundings.

Traxx stretched and stood up, walking outside and sitting down. "Good morning." she said as she scratched her ear.

Murtagh trotted around, in searc of Raiya. They hadn't officially gotten to finish their conversation since they were intterupted first by Storm and his introducing, but that of course couldn't be helped because Murtagh needed to talk to him to join the pack. And when the grey she-wolf called Raiya over. Murtagh sighed and sat down under a tree, looking around.
Tempest's eyes flew toward her mother.
"Mama!!" She exclaimed. "Can we go see Cobalt and Comet again!? Pleaaaasssseeee?!" She begged, running up to Callyn jumping up and down in front of her.

Raiya noticed Murtagh sitting under a tree near her bush. She slipped out from under it and circled untill she could pounce on him. She leapt and tackled the male. "Gocha!" She exclaimed playfully and wagged her tail.

Well, that wasn't entirely unexpected, Callyn reflected with a grin. "I suppose we could do that," she said, then tilted her head, allowing a slightly plaintive tone to enter her voice. "But are you sure you wouldn't rather spend time with me?"

Shadow rolled over and nuzzled Kali. With a whine he got to his feet and wondered if his leg would ever heal. There where feathers everywhere as he was molting and his wings where getting bigger. "Dd you sleep well, my love?" he asked as he sat down near her.

Sol-Leks went back into the den and roused Kavik, "Time to get up, little one." she said and nuzzled him to his feet. Stepping outside with Kavik at her side, they made there way down to the stream.

Tempest looked torn, but the descision was clear in her eyes. "Um, yeah." She said, sort of embarassed, then she smiled. "Besides, after we get back from Comet and Cobalt's, you and me can go hunting right?" She asked brightly.

Murtagh leapt straight upward as a sudden heavy weight hit his back. He shrugged the she-wolf off with a grin and chuckled. "Nice one, but you were too loud." He lied, settling back down in the grass with his paws sprawled out in front of him.

Kali woke up and yawned, her bright white teeth flashing. She stood and buried her head in Shadow's broad chest. "I slept well." She said and pulled back to nip him playfully on the ear. Kali suddenly jumped and ran away from Shadow, only to whip around and bowl right towards him. She didn't bowl into him due to his injuries caused by Honor, but she did nip him on the wing as she flew past him. She went back and pranced in front of him in a very silly manner. Sitting, she smiled goofly and licked his nose. Tratto stood and yawned. He had grown bigger. All of the velvety soft puppy fur had molted out of his coat and he now stood at the top of his father's shoulders. He yelped and pranced happily before running over and nuzzling Khaz affectionately. Essence stretched, her paws gently pushing against Dakoda's forehead. She sneezed and her tail wagged joyfully. (I got rid of Grimshaw... don't think there will be any complaints bout that...  |

"Was not." Raiya protested. She sat down and curled her tail around her paws.
Dakoda yawned as he felt pressure on his forehead. "Bless you." He chuckled.
Khaz opened his eyes. "Morning." He said to his brother. He reached out with his paw and prodded Ipa awake.
Ipa lifted her head up and blinked the sleep out of her eyes.

Nomed froze when Zakira came up to him. He dropped his head bashfully and managed a meek smile.
"Heh heh, oops," he murmured, then licked her ears. "I'm just so happy, you know??" He nuzzled her face gently. "Are you hungry?? I can go hunt."

"Yuh-huh." Murtagh muttered under his breath, but didn't go on. He flicked his ears and glanced toward her, studying her with hunter green eyes. "So, Raiya," he said, letting out a yawn. "You got a story?"

Essence snorted and stood, shaking out her luxurious coat. She licked Dakoda on the ear and wrapped her tail around Ipa.
Tratto flicked his ears and galloped outside. Once there, he threw up his head and stared scenting the air. Truthfully, he was starting to get restless in his parent's den. He was getting larger and felt like he needed more space to roam and explore.

Callyn laughed and nuzzled her daughter fondly. "It's okay, sweetie, I understand. Sure, we'll go hunting later." Her nuzzle ended in a playful nip to Tempest's ear and she stood up to trot outside.
On their way to Nico and Skye's den, Callyn couldn't help but be reminded of times long past when she would travel this same path to Icer and Zan's den with another puppy at her side, eager to play with his friends. Then she would blink and shake her head, but the feeling of deja vu still remained.
Nico had decided they would hunt fox today. It was small, and just enough of a challenge to Comet and Cobalt, without being dangerous. Had Traxx been with them, he wouldn't have told the boys to go after it out of respect to her, since she had a particular aversion to eating fox, but she wasn't along with them on this trip, so he figured it was okay.
He stopped and beckoned to the pups with a flick of his tail. Lowering his voice to barely above a whisper, he asked them, "Do you guys smell that? Not the squirrel or the oppossum -that other scent. That's a fox. Whaddaya think? You wanna give it a try?"
Zakira smiled. "I can tell," she replied. "You were very nearly bouncing off the walls just now." She tucked her muzzle under his chin as he dropped his head and gently bumped it up. "Don't worry, our little ones won't lack for toys," she teased. "Puppies are very easily amused, even by something as simple as a big fluffy tail." And she reached around him with a grin to give his a tug. At his offer to hunt, though, she shook her head, looking faintly sick. "Just the thought of food is nauseating right now," she grimaced.

Skye nodded. "It was pretty terrifying, my dad was less than pleased." She mused, smiling. She stopped as Nico suggested they hunt fox, unaware he was thinking the same thing; about Traxx and her 'pet' fox. She made a mental note to have them eat the cat before they got home.
Cobalt nodded, grinning happily. "It's rabbit, right?" He perked up, happy with himself for getting the scent... Though it was wrong. He trotted happily in the direction of the 'rabbit.'

Raiya raised her eyebrows. "Yeah. What do you want to hear?"
Dakoda licked Essences ear back.
Khaz watched his brother leave and rolled his eyes. He trotted out after him. "Hey wait up!" He called out.
Ipa felt a warm glow spread through her body that her mother was paying attention to her.

"I asked for your story, I would expect not to be lied to."
Murtagh crossed his front paws over eachother and peered up at Raiya like an eager puppy, waiting for his bedtime story.
Tempest smiled and trotted after Callyn cheerfully, tail wagging from behind.
"You know when Comet and Cobalt were still..." She searched anxiously for the right word. "Living with Stella," she decided on, then continued, "me and Cobalt got lost! And then... it was confusing... Skye's -no Comet and Cobalt's brother, Hunter, found us, then Lilly came and was protecting us.. and then..." She stopped, completely out of breath.
Comet gave Cobalt a funny grin. "No that's a fox! Like Nico said." He said, although hadn't really known the scent until Nico had spoken it out loud. He snagged his brother's tail as he began to trot off. "Cobalt, wait!" He mumbled through tail fur.

Tratto looked at Khaz and wiggled his tail. He play bowed to Khaz before prancing over and lunging, grabbing Khaz on the scruff. He tumbled to the ground and tried his hardest to pull Khaz down with him.
Essnce licked Ipa on her head and sighed, content.

"Alright." Raiya said. "I was born into a pack a long way away." She paused andx took a breath. "They all thought I was a freak because I have the entire past in my head. They were also scared because I knew of every bad thing they ever did. Of course I was never going to tell anybody but no one believed me. All exept this one wolf but thats besides the point." She curled her tail tighter around her paws. "They drove me out so I wandered around untill I came here."
