Kali rolled on her back and whined as if the cold water had hurt her in someway. It hadn't however.

Kali chuckled and licked Shadow's nose back. Suddenly, Kali pinned her ears back and she looked a little worried. She stood, and then sat, then looked at Shadow. Her face suddenly went blank and expressionless. "Shadow, I think I'm pregnant."

Shadow nearly fell over. Suddenly a look of pure bliss came over him. "Really?" he said and gently nosed her belly. His tail was wagging a mile a minute.

Kali backed up a few steps and eyed Shadow. "You told me you absolutely didn't want pups.." She paused and flicked her tail, confused.

"That is true." he looked at Kali, "I'm not going to leave because your pregnant." he paused a moment to collect his thoughts. "It is one thing to say that when you have never had the opportunity to experience pups in a good way." He smiled, inside he was shaking. "I said that because I am afraid of not being a good father." he finally said to her.

Nomed shook his head, trotting steadily by her side. If anything, he was more on edge, more ready to attack anything that got too close to her without his consent. His dark green eyes searched the shadows warily, every slight movement making him tense. Zakira was not getting out of his sight, that was sure.
"I'm fine," he said absently, flattening one ear at a twig cracking under his own massive paw.

Kali whined and buried her head in his fur. "You don't need to be worried about that.." Her voice wandered off and she pressed closer to Shadow. It hadn't really sunk in with Kali that she was going to have children.

Shadow felt a change happening, he felt more protective of her now. He wrapped his wings around her and nuzzled her. "I think we need a bigger den." he said with a chuckle.

Brigan started as Sol-Leks suddenly gave a surprised yelp, and whipped his head around, looking for Kavik and Joshua. In the next second, though, he relaxed, chuckling, as the pups turned out to be the cause of Sol-Leks' little surprise.
Joshua giggled as Sol-Leks rolled her over and tickled her belly in revenge, nipping lightly at the she-wolf's muzzle.
Brigan smiled. "She's really something," he agreed. And reminds me way too much of her mother, he added to himself, a hint of sadness coloring his brown eyes.
Zakira rolled her eyes at Nomed's overly-protective stance and awareness. When would he learn that she much prefered it when he treated her as an equal rather than something fragile?? Rounding on him, she dove for his legs, knocking them out from under him, and placed her front paws on his chest to hold him down as her teeth closed lightly on his bared throat. She held the pose for half a second, then released him with a gentle lick.
"I believe the greatest danger here is the one walking beside you, don't you think?" she asked sweetly, her grey eyes alight with humor.

Murtagh was about to call the turkey for himself, but Raiya was quicker than him. He shook his head with a smirk and crouched down in the brambles to watch her as she pounced on it. Once she sank her teeth into its neck, he leapt out of the bushes and padded over to her.
"You do plan on sharing don't you?" He asked with a funny grin.
Tempest's eyes practically bulged out of her head. "I can...?" She asked, tail wagging faster every second. "Okay!" She turned around and trotted in front of Callyn, determined to stay in front too. She paused at the woodline and peered into the forest, remembering her lessons and lifting her nose to the air, taking in the scents. She wasn't entirely sure what she smelt, so she looked quickly to Callyn.
"What's.. what's that scent?" She asked, somewhat sheepishly.

Raiya looked at the large bird. "No. I plan on eating it all by myself in no more than two minutes." She smiled teasingly and pushed it towards Murtagh.

Murtagh grinned at her and tore a leg from the turkey, then a piece of the meat since the leg was awfully small and didn't taste very good. He munched happily, eyes watching Raiya. "Have you been here a while?" He saked her through bites.

Nomed's eyes widened as she lunged at him, fearing the worst. When she spoke, however, he chuckled in embarassment.
"Well, you know, can you blame me from wanting to protect you??" he asked with a wink. "Any male would take one look t your beauty and want you, but I won't let them." He licked her nose lovingly. "Forever and always, I'm yours if you're mine."
(and by the way, the Hood is up for anyone who wants to know. I haven't joined uet *haven't had time* but its up. =) )

Shadow begun to think about a good place to have a den. It should be near to the stream and a good food source he said to himself and got up. "We should look for one around here. What do you say?" he asked.

Sol-Leks giggled as Joshua nipped at her muzzle. Kavik came over and jumped on his mother and upon finding the harness she wore, he got curious. "Momma, what is this for?" he asked. Sol-Leks stopped what she was doing and raised her head, "What is what for, Kavik?" she pondered what he could be asking about. "This thing on you. It brown and it is everywhere." he replied. She froze, never thinking he would even see it. She shook lightly to get Kavik off and backed away slightly from the two pups. "Umm... It is called a 'harness', Kavik." she said.

Murtagh nodded and finished up his share of the turkey, knawing on a bone or two before standing up and kicking them around aimlessly. He arched his back and stretched, letting out a loud sound for a yawn and turned toward the clearing.
"Ready to head back?" He asked.

Murtagh padded back to the territory slowly beside Raiya, not speaking, and not having any intention of doing so. A squirrel scurried along their path, making him jump and look at Raiya with one of his "funny grins".
