Sol-Leks watched Traxx run over to Kavik and she smiled slightly. She knew Traxx would eventually regain some of her sight. She had made sure of it. Kavik, excitedly ran around Traxx. Then he turned and ran, running past Odeta and jumping into a snow drift. For being nearly 6 months old, he still acted very puppy-ish. Sol-Leks trotted towards Traxx and nipped her shoulder. Traxx knew her mother would never trust her alone with Kavik but that was okay. She could live with that, so long as Sol-Leks stayed being nice to her.

Angel blushed as Tanek brushed against her, having one of her shyness attacks at being so close to the hansome wolf. She growled playfully at him, but so only he could hear her, and flicked her tail at his nose back before running off, only stopping once she got to near the front. She glanced back behind her, waiting for him to catch her. A small, niggling thought crossed her mind. *Does he feel the same way?* she asked herself.

Joshua awoke as Ana returned and lay beside her and Sawyer. She raised her head with a yawn, which was broken by a light bout of coughing. It was better than the day before, and she didn’t feel so hot, though her throat was hurting again. She was hungry too. She glanced up as Sawyer asked about the wolf who gave them medicine yesterday. “Freya!” she piped up, and smiled when her mother said Freya should be back later. “I like her,” she confided, squeezing in beside her sister and snuggling into Ana’s soft chest. “How does she know all that stuff about medicine, Mama?”
Zakira had been willing to let Nomed off the hook –that is, until he tried to cover for his gaffe with an unconvincing “I knew that”. She smirked at him, unimpressed. “Sure you did, Nomed,” she responded drily, rolling her eyes. “Sure you did.” Halo left off trying to force his eyes to focus on the blurry shapes of his parents and instead turned to his sister. She was small and dark and close and it didn’t strain his newly-discovered sight to look at her. He raised a paw and lightly swatted her ear. Lifting his foot, however, left only three on the ground and he lost his balance, falling against Zakira. Zakira’s eyes dropped to her pups, watching them with a slight smile as they interacted.
Freya smiled as Harek dissolved into giggles, though her eyes showed her puzzlement. She didn’t get the joke. She waited patiently for it to be explained. When the younger female finally regained the power of speech and told her that it was her own brother and his mate who were the cause of poor Laredo’s sufferings, Freya still didn’t see the hilarity in it. She understood that a new mother may be overly protective of her little ones, but she didn’t see the necessity in biting him. He was a packmate, wasn’t he? “Hmm,” she frowned, mildly disapproving. Freya was never more than mild. “They sound like a very…hotheaded young couple. I do hope this sort of thing doesn’t happen very often?”
Nico grinned, sitting up to scratch leisurely at his ear with a hind leg. He found the old she-wolf’s concern vaguely amusing. It wasn’t like Nomed and Zakira were dangerous, murderous rogues who threatened anyone who ventured a step too close…oh, wait. Yeah, it kinda was like that. “Nah, not very often,” he answered off-handedly. “They don’t bother us if we don’t bother them.”
(Short, sorry.)

Raiya laughed. She looked at Murtagh lovingly as he talked to their daughter, and she thought about how lucky she was to have him as her mate. She then turned her gaze toward Erika. She really is a beautiful pup. She thought to herself.
Erika still couldn't hear, but she could feel the blow of air from when her father talked to her, and could smell his scent. She wiggled away from the safety of her mothers belly fur and ventured toward her father. She bumped into his paw then yawned, revealing a pink, toothless mouth.
Tanek smiled and ran to catch up with Angel. Once he reached her he nipped her side playfully, then darted toward the back of the group to esape. He knew they were probably going to get scolded like pups for playing while on a hunt, but at that moment he didn't care.

Angel jumped as he nipped her side, and growled at him again. Checking nobody was watching, she shot back after him, pouncing on him.

Joshua was awake now too, having remembered the old wolf from earlier's name it seemed as well. Ana smiled while Joshua wiggled in beside Sawyer and snuggled closely to her, though her mouth opened again and words spilled out once again, asking the question- similar at least that Ana remembered asking her own mother about the scientists. "How did they know so much knowledge" "Sweetie, Freya's a wolf of many years older than you." She began with the slightest hint of amusement in her voice upon saying this. "She's been in the world longer to study the knowledge of plants, boosting her talent every day. I'd imagine she was pretty talented in this sort of thing. Elder wolves are often ver wise and smart." She explained gently, trying to put it in words that Joshua would understand and not be completely confused. "Besides," she added to change the subject. "How old are you even? Do you think you would be able to work with herbs like Freya does?" She asked curiously. Sawyer wasn't quite as interested in this as Joshua was. Instead, she hoped for adventure. But this stupid sickness was holding her back. She wanted to meet Kavik! And explore the territory more! It wasn't fair. Frowning, she burrowed deeper into her mother's thick fur, closing her eyes and resting.
Murtagh watched Erika try again to venture out from her mother's warm fur. He felt her bump into his paw, and looked down, surprised that she had come so far. It wasn't too far of a distance for him and Raiya- only a few steps, but for little Erika, he was surprised and proud. He grinned down at her and swiped his tongue over her head once, then scooped her up by her scruff, gently carrying the little puppy back to Raiya and laying her down beside her mother. "Now you stay here." He murmered to her soothingly. "Shh, you'll have plenty of time to explore the world. Not yet though." He whispered, then left her beside Raiya and settled down on his belly again, across from her. Glancing outside of the den, he noticed that the winter air was different. It smelled fresher and cleaner- like spring air. He knew spring was on its way... Not yet, but soon. Time went by so fast it would be there before they knew it.

Raiya smiled affectionately at her dauhter. She would grow up to be an adventurous wolf. She knew.
Erika felt herself being lifted up by her father then placed by her mother stomach again. Insted of wiggling away, as the trip to Murtagh had tired her, she snugggled closer to her mother and started to suckle.
Taneks eyes widened in surprise as the she pounced on him, momentarily pinning him down. He got out of his shock and shook her off and turned the tables, pinning her down instead.
Ipa uncurled herself. She had been in that position for a while. Exactly how long, she didn't know. But she did know that she needed to get her sorry butt up and get back into the world. Starting with hunting. She had heard the Alphas call earlier, and decided that she should go join them, if they weren't already done. She walked outside her den then broke into a lope as she cauht up to Odeta. "Hi Odeta. Can I join you?" She asked. But without her usual enthusiasm.
(I have no idea where I left Khaz so I'm just gonna plop him somewhere.) Khaz trotted through the forest, his head and tail hanging low. He sighed and looked up. Between the branches he saw patches of blue sky, and he knew that his parents were up there somewhere. He sighed in sadness. Even though he knew that someday he would join them, but that day far far away. Khaz knew that he could take his life and join them anytime he wanted, but to take ones life was, in his opinion, disgraseful. Plus, he was positive his parents would want him to live a full life before dying. Not to end it early.
Edit: Added on Ipa and Khaz.

Angel chuckled, smirking at Tanek as she leaned up, and licked his nose before wriggling from underneath him, adopting a playful pose, tail wagging insanely.

Tanek growled playfully and sprung at Angel again. This time pinning her so that it would be harder for her to escape. He bent his head down and licked her nose.

Odeta pushed harder and faster, trying to show everyone the urgency of the hunt, as she saw playing. There sounds wouldn't do well once they needed to stalk up on their prey. When Ipa asked to join, the amber she wolf nodded and said "Sure." Quietly and continued forard, soon enough, the she wolf caught the scent of a moose. Actually, many of them, and it made her mouth water. She could just feel her teeth sinking with ease into its flesh... she pushed the thought away and turned to Barak, who was making a path for the short Faolan in the snow. She felt a pang of something towards the male then, but what it was, she knew not. The alpha snorted, and made contact with the Beige male, her eyes sparkling with the excitement of the hunt. She motioned her head in the opposite direction and quickly uttered, "You take a few of us that way, I will take a few this way. We should have a few rushers to chase the animal forward, and with the wolves on either side, we should be able to converge and take it down." She said, hoping Barak would understand.
Faolan listened intently to Barak as he whispered to him, telling him to follow. Gratefully he loped after him, using the neatly made path the larger male had created. He felt a new found sense of respect towards the male, who seemed to make sure to make the helpful action discreet, so as to ease Faolan's pride. Faolan pulled to an unsteady stop when the alpha stopped, and heard her say something about rushers. "I can be a rusher, alpha. If you need me to be." The red wolf said, panting happily at the exercise.
Kali lunged after the hunting party after smirking at her cocky mate, who had flew the entire way. The nimble and small she wolf dodged trees and undergrowth, and found it easy to keep up with the others. The female glanced back to see how her rather larger, maybe clumsier mate fared.

( . . . I'm such an idiot . . . I kept watching 2, instead of checking for 3. ^.^') Nomed would have blushed at Zakira's dry comments had he not been covered in fur. As it was, he ducked his head and flattened one ear shyly. He silently thanked his lucky stars that Halo and Nakira distracted his too attentive -ahem- lovely and gorgeous mate. He smiled at the pups as the little boy batted at his sister's ear, then tumbled into his mother. Nakira, for her part, squeaked indignantly and curled closer to her mother in an attempt to hide from her rude brother. Laughing again, the large male shook his head, then flicked his ears at a faraway squeak. He turned his muzzle towards the other bed in the den and realized that Harek had yet to return, and her pups were getting hungry and cold. Brows furrowed, he nuzzled Zakira gently before standing. "I'm going to go see what's taking Harek so long; her pups need her," he murmured softly, licking her ears. "I'll be right back." He nuzzled her again before turning and padding from the den. He gave a short bark of a howl and flicked his ears up for the response. Harek giggled again at Freya's response to her words, then giggled more at her confusion. She was about to add to Nico's statement when she heard the howl and she froze, flicking her ears up. She gave a short response and stood, shaking her coat out slowly. "Whoo, I hate snow," she muttered before turning a smile to the other wolves. "That's my cue; I best get back before the bloodthirsty demon comes after me." She smothered another giggle and turned away, only to pause at the small ripping sound that sounded from the bushes. They rustled and the massive black wolf stepped out, each large paw splayed below the silver cuffs. The chain jangled around his neck as he padded closer, green eyes darting slowly. He took note of the elderly yet kind she-wolf and the company she kept, Nico and by the scent of it Traxx and Skye. He relaxed quite well, until he scented the blood and his gaze landed on the white male that had snarled at his pups. He smirked wryly at the scratches that had been no doubtably made by his mate and eyed the male with a lifted eyebrow. "You won't snarl at my pups again, will you??" he growled lowly, eyes narrowed. Harek growled at him and bit his ear, making his eyes widen and his head snap around to stare at the white wolf. Her deep blue eyes were narrowed and her tail flicked angrily. "Don't be a sassy she-wolf," she spat, lip curled slightly. "He made his choice, it turned out to be a mistake, and he learned from it. Now drop it." Wide eyed, Nomed stared at her as she turned and stalked away, growling softly, hackles raised. He looked at the other wolves with wide eyes. "Was it something I said??"
Barak looked at Odeta and nodded, understanding what she wanted. He looked back as the smaller wolf he had helped offered to be a rusher and nodded again. "I know just how to do it," he agreed in his deep rumble. His indigo eyes studied the herd before them intensely and he gave a small nod. His eyes skipped to hers and he looked at her seriously. "Ready when you are."

Tanek got off of Angel guiltily. He didn't mean to make a disturbance(in the force. Star Wars reference for those of you who don't know. Kinda hyper right now. ;D). He trotted forward, all buisness now. He knew he wouldn't be good as a rusher. He was too clumsy for that.
Ipa nodded at Odeta, then backed away. Her tail hung low, but her head was up. She smelled the moose as well, and her stomach longed for the meat. She kept it from growling again by snapping up some snow that melted into water in her mouth and filled her belly a little.

Angel chuckled, shaking her fur of the snow, and padding up by Taneks side. 'Stay by my side, ill help you' she told him, crouching low as the smell of prey hit her like a brick wall. It almost made her mouth water, but she hid it well.

Shadow shook his head and ran to catch up to Kali. He would have preferred the use of his wings but his legs worked, for the most part. He caught up to Kali but soon started to slow down. His leg still wasn't strong enough to carry his body weight for long. With a smile on his face, he pushed himself harder.
Kavik was running up by Odeta and Barak. He was ecstatically happy right now and could barely contain it. Sol-Leks soon caught up to him and he fell into line beside her.
Traxx happily followed the group, although she was not sure who most of thee wolves where.

Zakira glanced up from her own pups as Harek’s squeaked from across the den, reminding her that the white she-wolf wasn’t back yet. Nomed announced his intention of going to see what was taking her so long, and Zakira nodded. When he’d gone, she stood and went over to her little niece and nephew, nuzzling and murmuring soothingly to them in the absence of their mother. “There, little ones,” she said. “Don’t fuss, she’ll be back soon.” When Halo slowly, deliberately, got up and picked his way over the grass bed as if to follow Zakira across the den, she picked up Nardo and Reiko and moved them to the bed, then retrieved Halo and dropped him next to his sister and cousins. It was easier to keep an eyes on all four of them when they were together and their body heat would warm each other. Zakira would have nursed the little white pups too, but she didn’t think Harek would appreciate that. Nursing mothers had to keep up their milk supply and if their pups didn’t suckle, their milk would gradually dry up. And there was the discomfort, besides. But Harek’s pups weren’t starving. They could hold out till their mother arrived. Halo recoiled at the scent of the other pups. They smelled like his sister, but not like his sister. And they were light, light-furred, not dark. The tiny black pup bristled, attempting a menacing growl.
Nico’s ears twitched in the direction of the howl and levered himself to his feet as the big black male appeared, a certain wariness entering his posture. It was only the slightest tensing of his muscles, virtually unnoticeable unless one had happened to see him moments before, totally at ease. “Too late,” he muttered under his breath, then flashed the other male a grin. “Hey, Nomed. How’s it going?” He watched Nomed’s green eyes fasten on Laredo, the satisfied smirk that crossed his face at the sight of the wound, and the younger male’s own bright green gaze sharpened alertly. He didn’t need another fight breaking out right in front of his den, where his mate lay sleeping inside. She needed her rest. But it turned out Harek took care of that for him. The she-wolf bit her brother’s ear, scolded him like a bad puppy, and stalked away. Nico stared after her in awe. Nomed looked just as astonished. It was the look on his face more than anything that made Nico start to snicker. “What’s up with all the she-wolves lately?” he joked. “Mine, yours, your sister…next it’ll be ole Freya going postal on us! It’s the end of the world! The beginning of the she-wolves’ reign of terror!” The young tan male cracked up.
Freya rested her quiet green gaze on the giant black male who stepped out of the bushes. Scars crisscrossed his face and body. A silver chain hung from his neck and cuffs encircled his front paws. Instantly, she understood that this was not a wolf any sensible person would want to anger, which brought into question Laredo’s mental sanity. Nevertheless, when he growled at the injured male and seemed about to re-instigate the fight, she opened her mouth to try to reason with him and possibly avoid more bloodshed. But she wasn’t needed. Harek put her brother firmly in his place and left him staring wide-eyed after her. Well. And that was neatly done, Freya thought, with a touch of amusement. Her amusement became a full-out smile at Nomed’s confused question and at Nico’s laughing reply. “Reign of terror, eh?” she chuckled. “I think I’ll leave the terrorizing to the younger she’s and stick to my healing.”
“Oh, yes!” Joshua replied, her entire body wiggling with delight. Her furiously wagging tail thwapped her sister in the back of the head. “I want to be a healer when I get bigger!” she exclaimed. “Like Freya! Do you think she would teach me all the stuff she knows?” Her light brown eyes lit up as she stared hopefully into her mother’s face. Brigan was awakened by his family’s chatter. Yawning wide, he tried to pick up the thread of the conversation. So, Joshua wanted to learn herb lore, huh? He gazed at his wolfier daughter with a fond half-smile, then, seeing Sawyer trying to rest, pulled his dark, doglike daughter toward him and settled her between his front paws as he often had with Joshua when it was just the two of them. “Keep it down, Joshua,” he chided mildly, in his low, husky tones. “Your sister’s still not feeling well, even if you’re better.” He looked down at Sawyer and nuzzled her. “Isn’t that right, baby girl? Tell Joshua to hush!”
Callyn awoke to an empty den. She gave a start, before remembering Tempest had gone out hunting. And she’s not back yet? she thought with a frown. She better not have stopped by Comet and Cobalt without telling me she was going… The aging white she-wolf toyed with the idea of paying her son’s family a visit, to see if she could catch Tempest over there. She chuckled at the imagined look of horror her daughter would wear, but ultimately decided to just wait for her return. As she gazed around the lonely den, she thought about how big her family had grown. She’d never thought to see her den empty. All those who would have filled it were lost now, lost or moved on. Her mate Auden, who promised he’d always come back to her. Her son Caspian, who’d caught the roving bug from both his fathers, adoptive and biological, and left to find them. Her little stillborn son and daughter, who never drew a breath. Even Nico; he had his own life and family now. There was only Tempest. And Callyn was afraid she would soon lose her last daughter to one of Zan’s sons.

(Short posts!) "I think she will...if you feel better soon!" Ana nosed Joshua affectionetly. "Of course she will, sweetie, if you ask." She added so thay she didn't confuse the little pup. Her emerald eyes glinted with love for her daughter's determination. Most pups weren't interested in medicine at their age- they all wanted to be brave, loyal warriors to their pack and protect it. Not Joshua it seemed. The spunky little pup had so much personality...Ana was certain she'd do good in the knowledge of plants and herbs. It was also a way to help out the pack. Before Freya, there had been no 'medicine wolf' and Ana was sure that withou the old healer, she'd've been lost on what to do and Brigan probably wouldn't know any better either. A light rustling in the den floor signalled Brigan's awakening and Ana had to think on why he had slept so long. He was usually up fairly early. He must have been very tired. He told Joshua to keep it quiet for Sawyer's sake, who gave a whimper of protest when Brigan scooped her up to pull her close to him. She roused herself enough to peer sleepily at Joshua and mutter 'SHHH", then bury herself in her father's fur and snoozing softly.
The little black and white male pup whimpered when he was lifted from his little nesting place with his sister. His eyes were muddy blue, all open, but still baby blue. He peered around but everything was a blurr. Suddenly he was set down by two other fluffy things, who felt much like his sister, but wasn't her. He could tell she was also there though. He blinked, trying to clear the fog from his view. Though after several times, he gave up and curled close to whoever was around him, only to leap back up in astonishment, hearing the little growl. He sank los to his belly, peering around, bu couldn't seem to spot anything. He slowly let out a little grow of his own, strangely liking the way it settled in his throat.
[[Dun-dun-dun-duuuuun, it's Tempest time! Ommggggg stupid song on TV that I mad a parody for Tempest! Hehe I'm an idiotttt XD]] The black female, nearly full grown now, loped through the forest at ease. The oddly sunny day glinted in the dky while the sun shone down and heated her black pelt, warming through the thick, fluffy fur and onto her skin. The way the sun rays hit her coat gave it an odd almost blue hue to it for an instant, before glinting and turning it a duller black, though sunlit. The single white splash on her chest was the only thing keeping her from being pitch black- even her eyes were like buttons. A quivering black nose poked through the bushes and the female instantly reconized it as a hare. Dismissing it, she let out a dhort bark to scare it away, and continued along at ease, her long legs propelling her forward. Her plumy black tail swished back and forth after she leapt over a fallen tree, then dashed into some brambles, on her way home. She still had many things on her mind, but she chose fo ignore them for now. She knew her mother was probably wondering where she'd run off to, but Tempest couldn't care less at the moment, even though she'd never actually admit that to Callyn. Finally reaching her den that she shared with her mother, Tempest leapt inside, entering with a bland look and a sigh while her head swivelled toward Callyn. "Have a nice nap?" She asked with a tiny smile.

Harek stalked, grumbling mutinously, back to the den. She snarled softly at the thought of Nomed being stupid enough to restart the fight that had just ended. How dare he?! The stupid, giant pup deserved to be swatted upside the head by a metal covered paw. Maybe then, there could be some sense knocked into his fat head. Ears back, she paced into the den and paused. Her pause was short-lived, however, as she saw her two white bundles of love in Zakira and Nomed's bed. She smiled then, ears flipping up slowly as her eyes lightened. "Where they being troublesome??" she purred teasingly, softly, padding closer. "Pups. Can't control them at all." She gave a light, playful laugh, her previous fury abandoned. She smiled warmly at Zakira, tail swishing slowly. "Thank you for caring for them. I bumped into some new wolves. A young male named Nico, a healer Freya, and a black and red wolf named Traxx. They were quite kind." She frowned then. "Well, I don't think Traxx liked me quite much, but that's a matter for a later date." Her smiled returned, bright as always. "Here, I'll take them to feed." She bent her head down to see Halo bristling at the two intruders. Giggling softly, she nosed the tiny black pup. "Be nice to your cousins. Family matters, little one. Family always has anothers back." She glanced at Zakira as she spoke, picking up Reiko. She returned the white bundle to her own bed before grasping Nardo and doing the same. Once they were all snuggled up together, the pups nursing hungrily, Harek turned her attention to the dark wolf. "So tell me," she said slowly. "Is Nomed always so . . . protective?? Because I only told him I'd be back in a minute, and then he appeared at my side like I had howled for help."
Nomed's green eyes remained wide as he stared after the muttering she-wolf. His attention flicked to the younger male Nico as he spoke about she-wolves snapping and attacking for no reason. Snorting a laugh, he turned his head to face the tan male. "So it's not just me, then??" he asked, feigning relief. "Well, that's reassuring. I'd hate to think that all she-wolves were going to bite into me every step out of line I take. Or at least," he gave a short laugh, "only me." Eyes playful for once, he smirked at Nico. "Begin?? Kid, they're she-wolves. They don't have to begin their reign of terror; it starts the moment they're born." Ears flicking, he turned his attention to the older female, whom Nico addressed as Freya. He studied her carefully, taking in her color, scent, build . . . Anything that could he useful upon a later date. He gave a low laugh, deep and rough. "As long as she doesn't take a chunk out of my hide, I'm fine." Casually, the black male sat, content to not go around a furious she-wolf when they were in private. "So, tell me Nico," he said calmly, unknowingly uttering the same words as his sister. "How long, about, does a she-wolf need to simmer down on a normal basis?? Cuz personally, I'd rather not die today, if it's all the same . . ."

Odeta nodded and slunk forward silently, her body low to the ground. She headed in a diagonal direction, heading slightly away from the deer. She baked lightly, telling others that some should follow her. The amber she kept one eye towards her prey, and she soon made her way to nearly parallel of the deer. She was a way off and tensed ready for the chase
Faolan stayed behind and stood firm, ready for the signal to start running. He would be one of the rushers, chasing the deer forward and hopefully into the jaws of the rest of the pack.
Kali snorted and bumped into her mate before coming to stand beside a strange, short, red wolf. He stomach sagged slightly with her unborn pups. Kali heard the alpha say something about runner and she looked toward Faolan. "I'm going to help chase the prey forward." Shadow's mate stated.

Barak eyed the she-wolf as she approached, stating she was going to rush. He looked her over skeptically, seeing a rounder belly than he would have expected on a rusher but shrugged and forgot it. He stood tall and motioned with his tail. "I need three to follow me," he barked softly, careful to keep his voice down so as to not startle the prey. "We'll cut him off as the rushers chase him in." He paced in the opposite direction, copying the amber wolf just across the clearing.
