Skye watched innocently as Nico inspected the bush, as if looking for the real cause that had made it fall. She gave him an apologetic grin as he said in a mysterious voice that he was convinced the bush was evil. "But I liked our bush." She said softly. "It wasn't a bad bush."
Suddenly she remembered the reason she was even moving in the first place. The fish constellation. She quickly got down and rolled over the way Nico had demonstrated, and tried to see a fish. She squinted and tilted her head. Immediately her eyes lit up. "Ohhh... I see it." She said with a mischievous grin and looked up at Nico. "Maybe you're not as crazy as you look." She teased.

(Soooooo sorry for that wait, Hurri. I felt horrible when I realized your last post was 5 days ago. Accidentally pulled an Icer and “forgot” XD)
Zakira sat on the bank as Nomed plunged headlong into the stream, wrinkling a disdainful nose at him as he urged her to join him. “Is it absolutely necessary to drench every inch of yourself just to cool your tongue?” she asked with an arched brow.
“It did seem like a good bush,” Nico replied, casting the fallen bush a regretful glance. “It hid its true intentions well.”
He watched Skye drop to the ground and roll to her back with a puzzled look to the slight tilt of his head, until he remembered what they’d been doing before the evil bush decided to ambush him. He grinned and got down beside her.
“There,” he said. “I toldja you could see it better from this angle.” He smirked as she teased him about being crazy, then nudged her, grinning slyly. “Hey Skye, how do you suppose a fish gets up in the stars? It flies.”

Khaz leapt after Tratto. He wiggled into the den and greeted his parents. "Hi mom. Hi dad."
Ipa trotted calmly behind her brothers. Sometimes she felt like the only level headed one. Scratch that. She was the only level headed one.

Essence smiled as her two sons came in, and shortly after, her only daughter. The female sat and studied the three for a moment, making sure that everyone wasn't hurt. "So what did you find on your adventures?" She asked
The amber she wolf scrambled through the underbrush and soon spotted a couple in the distance. (Zakira and Nomed) Odeta walked slowly, so as to not look like she was stalking or creeping, but also not look like she was charging over to invade their privacy.

He splashed water at her halfheartedly, not actually reaching her. "I wanted to swim a little," he pouted playfully. He chuckled then, not being able to keep the frown. He paddled about a little longer, then hauled himself out of the water. He shook out his coat slowly, then sat and glanced at her with a wolfy grin. "Now that my tongue feels better, whatcha wanna do??" He shrugged. "Since you're scared of water." |

Zakira smirked as the water drops fell short, though she really wouldn't have minded if he had gotten her wet. She probably would have jumped in and dunked him for it, though. She laid down on the bank and watched Nomed swim, then climb out, black coat dripping. She glanced up at him as he sat beside her, a warning look entering her eyes.
"I am not scared of water," she retorted.

Nomed smirked at her lazily, eyeing her from the corner.
"Mmhm, sure baby girl," he purred. "We'll go with that." He rubbed his wet tail against her body with a chuckle. He licked her cheek playfully. "Its okay, you don't gave to try and be brave for me; I'll love you anyways."

(No idea!! was looking too...Pshh, I'm just gonna put Murtagh in their den...)
The male yawned lazily and stretched back a thin smokey grey hind leg, one jet black paw hitting the back wall of the den. He stood and shook out his grey coat, hunter green eyes blinking as if he had just been waking for hibernation. (Literally if I haven't played him in that long -_-) He looked around the den then left and headed to the stream for a drink. He lapped up a few droplets of water which he knew was getting cold enough to soon freeze. He sighed and looked around again. He was so lazy these days; it was almost as if he had just not done anything anymore. He shrugged then trotted into the woods for something to eat.
(And I shall just post these guys here I suppose...)
Tempest lay inside Comet and Cobalt's den curled up in a tight ball, her head wrapped around so that it was touching her furry black tail. Suddenly her black eyes shot open and she looked around. She stood immediatly as if she had never been sleeping and first nudged Comet awake, who blinked, pawed at her lazily, trying to get her to leave, mumbled something under his breath, and continued to snore.
"Coommeett!" She complained with a groan. "C'mon, wake up!" She grumbled, batting at him. But, the snoring grey and brown pup didn't budge. Maybe Cobalt would ... Tempest looked toward the other pup and tapped his shoulder. "Cobalt!" She hissed. "Wake up!"
(Hope you don't mind that I put them there Icer. I knew that was where they were supposed to be but they never got there and I forgot what was happening there... lol.)

Raiya lifted her head as Murtagh left the den. She shrugged and rested her head on her paws. Soon she got bored, and decided to sit outside the den.

Zakira growled low under her breath. Nomed was asking for trouble. She tolerated it all the way up until he rubbed his dripping tail along her side, licked her cheek, and chuckled in her ear. A wicked gleam lit her grey eyes and she whirled on her mate, tackling him backwards into the stream. She shoved his head underwater and held it there for half a second, before releasing him with a roguish grin.
"Love you, too, honey," she told him sweetly.
After Brigan and Joshua left the stream, they headed into the woods on a hunt. Brigan was planning to teach his daughter a bit about the dangers of certain prey and how to identify them to avoid them -bear, porcupine, and skunk, to name a few. He decided to start with the easiest.
"Stop here, Joshua," he said. "I want you to smell this one."
The pup, whose fawn-colored fur was starting to darken in some areas, and gray in others, giving her coat more of a sable tone, obediently lowered her nose.
"What's that?" she asked.
"Porcupine," her father answered. "They have sharp, barbed quills that they'll shoot in your face if you startle them."
"Ouch," Joshua commented.
Brigan chuckled. "Yes, ouch. So memorize this scent, because it's not good prey."

(Smack me next time, wouldja?? ) Nomed knew he was getting under her plush pelt, but didn't know how much until she whirled on him and shoved him backwards. If he had been another wolf he would've yelped, but he knew it wasn't a wise thing, not with his girl as a mate. Sure enoygh, she held him under the water for a few moments before allowing him to surface. When he did so, mouth open and gaping, all she had to say was " love you too"?! His green eyes narrowed; this was war. With a growl, he lunged forward and grasped her scruff lightly before hauling her after him into the water. He dunked her as well, holding her under not even half a second before allowin her to rise. He smirked at her, then sent a stream of water at her before paddling away a few feet. He knew she would get him for all of this, it was just a matter of "how" and "when", and maybe even "where". Warily, he paddled in place, but couldn't resist one final barb sent her way, like the wonderful mate he was; keeping her on her toes was his specialty. "C'mon, pretty mama, we gotta keep that sexy figure, now don't we??" he purred with a wink shot her way. (Anyone know where Barak is / what happened last?? I'm 99.9% sure he's still with Sol-Leks and Traxx, chatting, but I don't think DragTz posted anything for them since my last post; though I may have missed it. I suppose I could go check . . . ?? *sigh* I think she's has her baby, however, so I may just have to be patient . . . And Sierra, just realized you had Odeta come up, so Zakira and Nomed'll see her when Nomed races away from a furious mama. ) |

If she'd expected Nomed to retaliate, Zakira may have had time to dodge him. But he was always so passive, meekly taking whatever punishment she doled out. So he caught her completely by surprise. Her eyes widened as his narrowed. It was the only warning she got. He grabbed her by the scruff and shoved her under. When her head broke the surface, Nomed was already several feet away, treading water and looking entirely too pleased with himself. She spluttered and coughed a bit, then laughed and splashed lightly back at him.
"Bravo, Nomed," she said. "Maybe you have a backbone after all."
Glancing up just then, she saw the amber-colored she-wolf from the clearing earlier, the other newcomer besides that striped male Zakira still fully intended to kill. The emotionless mask, which was the only face she ever showed to the public, slipped over her features, erasing her smile as though it had never existed. She felt just the tinest bit self-conscious at being caught playing in the water like a pup, but of course, she couldn't let anyone see that. She stood up and waded out of the stream, coolly shaking out her chocolate coat, turned nearly as black as her face when it was wet.
"Hello," she said, her grey eyes flickering carefully over the other she-wolf.
(Haha, called it wrong that time, Hurri. Zakira's been just waiting for Nomed to quit letting her muscle him around XD)

Nomed allowed a smirk when she congratulated him, sputtering slightly. He watched her until she regained her breath, somewhat nervous of her coughing and hoping it wouldn't impact the pups' minds. Heaven knew they needed all the help they could get, with his gene's as the father. When she finally stopped, she noticed something off to the side, and the mask returned. He frowned slightly, directing a stare of anger and frustration at the wolf who interrupted their fun time. He noticed an amber she-wolf watching them, and recognized her as the she-wolf who snarled at the beige male Zakira hated so much due to him staring and winking. He admired her for standing up to the inferior male and snarling, but was still upset with her intruding. He too climbed from the water, however he shook furiously as he neared, sure to splatter her at least a bit. Lifting his head high to tower above her, he regarded her carefully with his deep green eyes.
"Who might you be??" he asked, voice a deep, dark rumble. He wasn't the friendliest wolf on a good day, and it had been good until this wolf barged in and shut down his love's rarely shown emotion.

Odeta stepped a few paces forward, but still remained a respectful distance. She could tell from the male's expression that she had intruded on their moment, and she felt bad for that. But what was done was done, and questions that she must answer were already being asked. The female raised her eyebrow at the male and pierced his stern gaze with her brilliant pumpkin colored eyes. "I might be a she wolf named Odeta. And who might you two be?" She said softly, not enjoying the males almost dominating stance. She stood slightly taller and raised her head as well.
