The amber she wolf snorted some what impatiently as no one seemed to appear. She was grateful for Faolan's appearance, but as she suspected, the pack as a whole, whom she was hoping to gain their trust, had not answered of appeared. She glanced at Barak before quickly looking away. She wondered at Barak's complete and total loyalty to her. Why was he so willing to trust Odeta?
Tratto's head popped up slightly at the hunting call from the alpha, but his shoulders soon dropped again and his head hung low. He had no energy for hunting, nor a lust to do anything but sit there. The cold bit at his paws and he shivered.
Kali's ears perked up at the sound of the alpha's call, and she stood hesitantly. The pregnant female had felt so cramped in the den. Even with her slightly swollen belly, she was more then capable to help provide for the pack. "Come on," The she wolf said towards her loving mate. "Let's go hunt." She couldn't help them excitement that tinged her voice.

When the snow became too cold for Ipa, she stood and trudged to her den. She lay down in the corner and curled up so that her tail covered her face.

Angel howled to the Alphas hunting call once more, before glancing back at Tanek. 'That?' she asked, glancing at her leg. 'I just fell over a tree root earlier, i've taken some herbs so i should be ok' she smiled.

Shadow lifted himself onto his paws and nodded, "It could be fun watching you try to run through the deep snow." he chuckled and stepped outside. "How could I say 'no' to hunting in the snow. How would you like to go to the alpha, my dear. Shall we walk or fly?" he asked
Traxx nearly chocked on the pine branches as she over heard Harek say she was Nomeds' sister and lives in the same den as Zakira and Nomed. Speechless she dropped the pine branches and Hareks' paws and sat beside Nico.
Sol-Leks heard the Alpha's howl to hunt and smiled at Kavik. "Come, lets go hunt. You are old enough now to hunt with the pack." she said and loped off to where Odeta was.

(Sorry guys, I had family stuff to do and then I forgot my password...)
Laredo whined as hi chest hurt and he was slightly afraid of Harek and the black and red she-wolf a well. "Hi Nico, I'm Laredo." he introduced himself. He tried smiling at Traxx, hoping she wasn't as mean as Zakira could be.

(It's fine, Sammie, we get it. ^.^ We'll just pick up as we left off with our wolves. Harek made a little hollow of snow for Laredo to lay in to help staunch the bleeding, and has cobwebs to close the wounds. ^.^) Harek looked up at Traxx and smiled her thanks at the she-wolf before lookiny at Laredo and sighing heavily. "C'mon, come lay here," she scolded lightly. "The faster we can stop the bleeding, the better you'll feel. If I was going to kill you, I would have after Zakira cut you down. Or even when I came to find you. But no, I came to help. So let me help you."

Tanek shrugged and continued on. Soon they reached where the alpha and some other members gathered. He dipped his head at the amber she, whom he assumed called the hunt. "Hello my name is Tanek, and I wold like to join your pack." He said respectively.

Odeta's sharp, pumpkin colored eyes flicked as a unknown male appeared, who introduced himself as Tanek. "Nice to meet you Tanek. I am the current alpha here, and as long as no trouble is produced from you, you are allowed to stay as long as you please." A small smile flicked across her face. Her eyes then flicked to Sol Leks and her pup, Kavik. Odeta nodded to her and her pup in greeting, glancing at Barak in a scolding manner as if to say Introduce yourself, come on now.
Kali grinned but swatted him with her petite paw in a reprimanding manner. She shook her head and with a strong glance said firmly. "My feet are staying where they belong. The ground." The she wolf continued forward, slightly slower then normal due to her unborn pups. She glanced back at Shadow and winked, before dashing off into the forest. It didn't take long to reach the small clearing where the alpha, and others stood. Here she hesitated, and waited for Shadow, her not trusting old self showing through for a moment.

Barak caught her look and looked the two new males (unsure if Angel is there already or not). He dipped his head to them in respectful greeting. "Welcome," he added. "I am Barak. It is nice to meet you. I hope you can enjoy this pack as much as I have."

(Yeah, Angel's there)
As Tanek nodded to the Alpha, she nodded her head too, but in more of a friendly greeting to the alpha. She hid her bad leg as much as she could.

Ana's eyes brightened at the news of the meeting and her white ears perked as she shook out her fur gently, relieving only a little of the dust from her fur. She recalled the last Alpha, Demon, and how she admired his confidence and courage. Ana could never have been brave enough to take on the role of the leader. The responsibility would bs too heavy on her shoulders and she didn't have the gut. However, because of this, she respected and admired all Alphas and their great talent as long as they meant well. Which by the way Brigan was talking, this Odeta did. She flickered her ears forward as she opened her mouth to reply, only to let an unknown yawn slip out. Her emerald eyes fixed on her daughters for a moment before nodding to Brigan. "Mm? That's great, honey." She murmered. "I'd like to meet her sometime." She said. But I don't want to leave Sawyer and Joshua...Unless someone stays with them." She said. "Which would mean we can't go together..." She frowned and her ears flicked backward in disappointment. She always liked to rely on Brigan while talking...but other times she was more of the socializer. "Or, I suppose we can wait til' the girls feel better." She gave a tiny shrug.

Nico’s eyes widened till they were nearly bulging from his head. He stared at Harek. Beside him, Traxx made a kind of strangled sound, like she were choking, and dropped the pine branches she’d fetched for the white she-wolf. Nomed’s sister. Nico immediately re-examined her, looking this time for family resemblances. “Well, see, they’re pretty reclusive,” he said. “We kind of try to leave them alone, you know, since we actually value our lives, so we don’t actually get a lot of gossip about them…say, you’re not bloodthirsty and insane like your brother and his mate, are you? You look pretty normal, but it’s kinda hard to tell…”
Zakira smiled then, appearing mollified. She leaned down to nuzzle the tiny pup who bore her coloring in reverse, coming between her and her father’s stern glare. “My poor little girl,” she said, her grey eyes twinkling with laughter. “She’ll need someone to run to when her over-protective father, brother, and cousin intrude one too many times into her private life. That’s what mothers are for.”
Brigan smiled and nosed his mate fondly as she yawned. He laid down, then looked up at her, inviting her to lay beside him. “Didn’t you get enough sleep, love?” he asked. “Come, now’s best while the girls are resting. Odeta can wait. She knows our pups are sick and I’m sure she understands. When Sawyer and Joshua are feeling better, we’ll take them out, and I’ll introduce you to our new alpha and Joshua will introduce Sawyer to Kavik.”
Freya eventually found a suitable place to set up an infirmary; a three-sided cave very near the main clearing. It was set in the side of a small rise in the land, too small to be called a hill, and lined with rock, though the floor was dirt. The elderly female gave a satisfied nod and left to begin gathering certain herbs to keep on hand. She was on her way back to her new den with her mouth full of alder bark and borage and burdock root, when she came across four wolves in the snow. Two were males and two were females. There was red in the snow around the white male, which drew Freya’s attention. She carefully set down the supplies she was carrying to her den and approached, wearing a look of concern. “Oh, is he injured?” She glanced around at the three wolves standing: the lanky tan male, the elegant white female, and the scarred and half-blind female. The tan male looked vaguely familiar and her eyes rested on him a moment, trying to place him. He was at the meeting, she recalled suddenly, the mate to the young she-wolf who’d seemed so opposed to the new alpha.

Harek gave a light giggle, a soft sound filled with joy. Her blue eyes twinkled as she gazed at the tan male in amusement. Raising one eyebrow, she looked around as if looking for something. "Let's see, where am I??" Her question was rhetorical, adding to her amusement. "I'm here, helping fix up a wolf that my sister-in-mating annihilated, and I haven't gone crazy massacre on anyone yet. I'd say yes, I'm pretty normal." She gave other soft giggle. "No and Zakira, they're just . . . They have bad pasts and want to keep themselves and each other safe. Zakira still hasn't fully warmed to me, despite me being her mate's sister. They are only bloodthirsty and insane because that's how they were programmed." She frowned then, brows furrowing. "At least, that's what I think . . . But I've been wrong before . . ." She shrugged her shoulders and turned to the elderly wolf who appeared, looking at Laredo. "Yes, he was attacked by a rather bloodthirsty and insane wolf." She shot Nico an amused glance. "I truly don't know how to help; my herb knowledge is already limited at best, but it's winter and that makes in infinitely harder." She frowned once more.
Nomed chuckled as Zakira nuzzled Nakira gently and softly told her she was there. The moment stole his breath away; the image of his fearsome mate nuzzling their pup like her past had never happened was ingrained in his mind. He nuzzled her gently, closing his eyes and inhaling her soft scent. "And to think, when we first met, you tore open my shoulder," he mused. "Now you're nuzzling our pup. How much things can change, huh??"

"Mm-hm," Zakira replied. Her lips twitched as she swiveled her head to look at her mate, one eyebrow raised in fond amusement. "As I recall it, you very much deserved that bite. I refuse to apologize. You were very forward."
Nico cocked his head, seeming to seriously consider her words. “True, that,” he conceded. “No massacres. Alrighty then, you’re probably good.” He lolled his tongue and thumped his tail, making a wet thwap, thwap sound every time it hit the snow. Nomed and Zakira’s past didn’t really bother, or interest, him. Whatever had made them that way, had made them that way, and the best thing for everyone else was just to stay out of their way. When the elderly grey she’ walked up to them, he sat up to glance at her curiously. Harek was already answering her question about Laredo, and Nico grinned at her reference to him calling Nomed and Zakira bloodthirsty and insane.
“Goodness,” Freya replied, calmly indulgent. From the white female’s tone of voice, and the look she shared with the tan male, she presumed the ‘bloodthirsty and insane’ wolf was some sort of inside joke and irrelevant to what she needed to know to treat the injured male, so she didn’t bother asking about it. But the white she’ also admitted to not knowing how to help, and that was Freya’s area of expertise. “Yes, winter does complicate things,” she agreed, assessing the wound with an experienced eye. “Fortunately, this doesn’t look too terribly deep and I have some things with me that might help. Oh, good, and you have some cobwebs already.” Freya went to the little pile she’d left on the ground, nosed through it, then picked out a few strips of bark and returned to the group. While chewing the bark in her teeth, she moved aside some of the cobwebs the white she’ had already started to apply, then spat the chewed bark directly on the wound. “Alder bark,” she said, as she nosed the cobwebs back into place and finished pressing them to slow the bleeding. “It will help to prevent infection. The cobwebs are good to stop or slow bleeding, but they often increase the risk of infection, which is why you shouldn’t ever use them on minor cuts and scratches that will likely heal just fine without them.” The white male now neatly patched up, Freya stood back. “There. That should do him.” She cast a mildly disapproving frown on the young male. “Now, you be careful and don’t offend wolves who are liable to take chunks out of you anymore,” she scolded in a voice like a gentle mother hen.

Nomed chuckled, giving a full body rumble at her snappy little response. He growled softly at her, flattening his ears and wrinkling up his nose playfully. "Apologize??" he scoffed, snorting condescendingly. "As if I could ever imagine such a wolf as you to 'apologize' for something so trivial." He broke off then, unable to hold in his laughter. "Oh, Zakira, darhlin', you have got to be kidding me!" He sniggered in silence for a while longer. When he looked back at her, finally under control, his green eyes still twinkled. "I wasn't expecting you to apologize, sweet. It was just humorous to remember that day, and then see you now acting like a mother towards our pups." He nosed her neck gently, playfully. "Would youhave imagined that one day of me being forward and you being snappy could have brought us here??"
Harek smiled at Nico, then directed her full attention to the gray she-wolf as she tended to Laredo's wounds. Alder bark?? She'd keep that in mind; knowing both Zakira and Nomed's quick tempers, she'd probably need a lot of it. Another thing hit her, that cobwebs could actually inflict infection. That was news to her, and she filed that way for future use as well. She carefully studied the she-wolf's paws as they moved, memorizing movements and the gentleness that she moved with. When she was finally finished, Harek managed to recover from her pup-like trance. She smiled and dipped her head at the elder wolf. "Thank you," she said with a warm twinkle in her eyes. "I'll remember you techniques, in case the bloodthirsty wolf strikes again." She gave a light laugh.

Odeta nodded as more gathered. Her growling stomach urged her to get into action, and she did, once she heard no more howls. The amber colored alpha stood and greeted the small group. "Hello everyone, nice to meet you for those of you who are new. I called you all here today so we can hunt. And with that..." Odeta said, glancing at Barak, wondering if she had been nice enough in her greeting. "Lets go!" she barked excitedly. The she wolf trotted out of the clearing slowly, meaning to speed up once she knew everyone had gotten started and caught up.
Faolan's ear flicked wildly as the alpha addressed all. He stood and trotted after his alpha, at a respectful distance, his body wanting to go much faster. The short male tried to hide his troubles with going over the many thick snow banks.

Tanek trotted after the alpha. He brushed by Angels side then flicked her nose with his tail gently as she padded past.

Shadow watched Kali run off and stretched his wings, one at a time. He took off and landed right beside Kali, "Enjoy your run dear?" he asked and nuzzled her before waking towards the Alpha.
Traxx heard the hunting call too and flicked her ears. "It was nice meeting you, Harek. You too Laredo." she then giggled, "Hey Nico, I'll be back later. I'm going to go hunting." she said and loped off towards the Alpha. She got there and stopped, having not seen her mother in a long time. She came over to Sol-Leks and nudged her shoulder, like a puppy. "Mom, it is nice to see you." she said. Sol-Leks smiled, "You too Traxx." she said, "The brown pup over there is your brother. His name is Kavik." she said and pointed with her tail.

Nodding warily in agreement, Ana padded over to Brigan and curled up, tucked closed to his flank, yet still slightly around their daughters. She was satisfied with his words, that they would see to Odeta when the girls were feeling better, and Sawyer could meet the little pup, Kavik. The girls had such sweet, free spirits, it was hard seeing them sick like this. But Ana was convinced with Freya's knowledge— she was sure of it. Her eyelids drooped and flutered and her emerald eyes shut finally and her head lay down on the floor by her paws. Not long after, she was asleep and dreaming, but her dreams were a blurr as were her thoughts. (Short :_(

Angel growled playfully at Tanek, but only so that he could hear her, and flicked his nose back with her tail, just to prove her point.
